The people of Stockport and surrounding areas are having a wasted journey this Bank Holiday Weekend as the photos above show. This, of course, is owing to the recent unexpected closure of Oakfurnitureland at the Peel Centre in Stockport. They do have signs in the windows informing customers of their nearest stores which are over 25 miles away.

People searching for a wide selection of oak dining, living and bedroom furniture within the Stockport / Manchester area can always come and visit us, where you will be warmly welcomed, at our long established Oak and Pine Furniture store called Allwood Furniture only a few miles from Stockport, near the M.E.N Arena in Manchester, M4 4FY.

Right Price Furniture ???

Oak Furniture Land are busy at the moment, not with sales but changing stores around. Take a look at the photos below to see if you can spot the difference.

This shop must not have worked out as a Right Price Furniture Store in Chippenham. If you are not already aware Right Price Furniture went into administration in December 2010. Oak Furniture Land decided it was a good idea to buy the name to use.

Closed Down

Just had confirmation that Oak furniture land in Stockport has now closed down. They say that this is due to relocation. The store in Stockport had only been open since January 2011 and was openend as a flagship store for the area. We at Allwood Furniture in Manchester are however still here as they could not compete against us providing the lowest priced oak furniture around the Stockport and Manchester areas with the fastest delivery times. So if you are in the area call in and visit us, we shall be more then happy to see you and will provide very good reliable service and won't go disappearing off to different locations after a few months.
